Privacy Policy

The short version
IdioTool's tools run entirely in your browser. When you use a tool like Merge PDF or Split PDF, your files are read, processed, and produced on your own device using JavaScript — they are never uploaded to our servers, because our tools don't have a server component to upload them to.
What we don't collect
We don't require an account, we don't ask for your name or email to use any tool, and we don't store, view, or have access to the files you process on this site.
What we may collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information for security and reliability purposes — such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
Third-party resources
Some tools load open-source JavaScript libraries (for example, pdf-lib and JSZip) from a public content delivery network (unpkg.com) in order to function. Loading these libraries causes your browser to make a standard web request to that CDN, which may log your IP address according to its own privacy policy. No file content you process is ever sent to these libraries' servers — they run locally in your browser alongside the rest of the page.
Cookies
IdioTool does not use cookies to track you.
Children's privacy
IdioTool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
